El gest de la perforació interromp el relat cartogràfic tradicional: ja no orienta, ja no classifica. El mapa esdevé un territori fragmentat, en pausa, on la visibilitat es dilueix i el buit parla. “Cartografia interrompuda” remet a la ruptura d’un sistema de representació i a la sospita sobre la seva aparent neutralitat. En suspendre la seva funcionalitat original, l’obra obre la possibilitat d’un nou ordre visual, més obert, fràgil i intuïtiu. L’absència s’hi converteix en matèria activa; el que falta, en lloc de significat. Una cartografia interrompuda no és un final: és una pausa carregada de significat, que convida a imaginar noves formes de veure, de situar-nos i de recordar. La interrupció esdevé llavor per a un nou ordre —no imposat, sinó suggerit a través del buit, de l’absència i de l’acte de mirar de nou ------------- “Interrupted Cartography” 120x90 cm, school map 1959, 2025 This work is based on a school map from 1959, manually perforated with 220 circular points. The perforation gesture interrupts the traditional cartographic narrative: it no longer orients, it no longer classifies. The map becomes a fragmented territory, on pause, where visibility is diluted and the void speaks. “Interrupted Cartography” refers to the rupture of a system of representation and the suspicion about its apparent neutrality. By suspending its original functionality, the work opens up the possibility of a new visual order, more open, fragile and intuitive. Absence becomes active matter; what is missing, instead of meaning. An interrupted cartography is not an end: it is a pause loaded with meaning, which invites us to imagine new ways of seeing, of situating ourselves and of remembering. Estas imágenes, huérfanas ya de su contexto original, son reactivadas a través del collage como fragmentos de memoria colectiva, como vestigios de lo que permanece y de lo que se pierde. La acción de cortar no destruye; revela. Perforar no es borrar, sino abrir nuevas posibilidades de lectura. Entrelazar dos retratos es un acto de reunión, un intento por recomponer vínculos entre tiempos, cuerpos, historias. Mis piezas no buscan restaurar una verdad original, sino proponer nuevas narrativas visuales donde la ausencia, la transformación y la reconfiguración de la imagen permiten otros modos de mirar. Trabajo con materiales encontrados, con imágenes que ya han vivido, que han circulado, que han sido miradas por otros. Al intervenirlas, juego con el límite entre lo que fue y lo que puede ser. Así, estos retratos —reensamblados, desplazados, heridos incluso— se convierten en espacios abiertos a la interpretación, a la emoción y al recuerdo. ___ My work begins with an archaeology of the intimate: I collect old photographs—portraits that once served as evidence of identity, connection, or a frozen moment in time—and I intervene in them through cutting, perforating, weaving, and assembling. These images, now orphaned from their original context, are reactivated through collage as fragments of collective memory, as traces of what remains and what has been lost. The act of cutting does not destroy; it reveals. To perforate is not to erase, but to open new possibilities of reading. Interlacing two portraits is a gesture of reunion, an attempt to recompose bonds between times, bodies, and stories. My pieces do not seek to restore an original truth, but to propose new visual narratives where absence, transformation, and reconfiguration of the image allow for new ways of seeing. I work with found materials, with images that have already lived, that have circulated, that have been seen by others. By intervening in them, I play with the boundary between what was and what could be. The proposal was to make a inclusive activity for all audiences, in which visitors to the access to the main hall of the museum, they could put sound to the stained glass windows through environmental sound. With the chosen sounds, it was recorded a loop of determined duration, in which the different elements of the stained glass windows would be represented or suggested. In this way, the project aims to give accessibility to different audiences and people who visit the museum. From here, the theoretical framework connects with the idea of sound as a landscape, and even as a sculpture, since they are waves that flood the physical space of the museum. Taking as a reference to Rosalind Krauss and his text “Sculpture in the Expdanded Field” ( 1978 ), in a sound installation, the sound is presented as an extension of the space through acoustics, spatuality and its dimensionality. As a matter in the abstract that travels through space and as a physical and dimensional matter. According to artisit, Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller: “ sound is a physical medium composed of waves, that is, it is just as physical as a sculpture, but that you can not see.” The project is exactly that duality between what is seen / what in not seen. The project is open to all people, with the intention that different profiles with different sensory deficiencies they can access this space of the museum in one way or another. Is about democratize the perceptual experience, in the space of the stained glass windows. David Bru and Alfons Forrellad "El sonido de las vidrieras" versión reducida producida por Bru&amp;Forrellad Actividad accesible a todos los públicos, en el Museu d’Art Català de Cerdanyola. El proyecto “El sonido de las vidrieras” se basa en la realización de una intervención/instalación sonora en un espacio (sound art), dotando de sonido las imágenes que se encuentran en dicho espacio (site specific). Para esta ocasión se instalaron unos altavoces junto a las vidrieras del museo modernista de Cerdanyola, en Barcelona. La propuesta era realizar una actividad inclusiva para todos los públicos, en la que los visitantes al acceder a la sala principal del museo, podían poner sonido a las vidrieras a través del sonido ambiental. Con los sonidos elegidos, se grabó un loop de duración determinada, en el que los diferentes elementos de las vidrieras se verían representados o sugeridos. De esta manera, el proyecto pretende dar accesibilidad a los diferentes públicos y personas que visiten el museo. &nbsp; A partir de aquí, el marco teórico enlaza con la idea del sonido como paisaje, e incluso como escultura, ya que son ondas que inundan el espacio físico del museo. Tomando como referente a Rosalind Krauss y su texto “La escultura en el campo expandido” (1978), en una instalación sonora, el sonido se presenta como una extensión del espacio a través de lo acústico, la espacialidad y su dimensionalidad. Como una materia en abstracto que recorre el espacio y como una materia física y dimensional. Según los artistas, Janet Cardiff &amp; George Bures Miller “el sonido es un medio físico compuesto por ondas, es decir, es igual de físico que una escultura, pero que no puedes ver.” El proyecto es exactamente esa dualidad entre lo que se ve/lo que no se ve. El proyecto está abierto a todas las personas, con la intención de que diferentes perfiles con deficiencias sensoriales distintas puedan acceder de un modo u otro a este espacio del museo. Se trata de democratizar la experiencia perceptiva, en el espacio de las vidrieras. A la vez, abre una reflexión sobre los diferentes tipos de comunicación y el uso del lenguaje ya sea visual o sonoro. Al fin y al cabo la misión inicial de una vidriera era la de informar y contar, a la vez que la de decoración arquitectónica y de entrada de luz.
