Art imperceptible a la nova
mostra de l’espai Arc del Museu d’Art de Cerdanyola. El MAC porta a l’Espai Arc
una mostra d’Art Contemporani que aplega una selecció de gravats de l’artista sabadellenc
Alfons Forrellad amb litografies i instal·lacions que es mouen entre l’abstracció
poètica i les referències al món tàctil i sensorial.
L’exposició vol fer reflexionar sobre l’accessibilitat de l’art i la vida per a les persones invidents. Forrellad presenta un conjunt de litografies i gravats amb missatges ocults on ha fet servir el braille, de manera que les persones que hi veuen no poden accedir fàcilment al significat de les peces.
Alfons Forrellad va començar a col·laborar amb el MAC arran d'un exercici del Màster en Art Actual, en el mòdul de Museologia, impartit per Ester Prat. Posteriorment, va realitzar un taller de gravat adaptat a persones cegues al mateix museu. Tal i com comenta l’artista “d'un projecte surt un altre; de l'activitat teòrica del màster va sortir el taller de gravat experimental al MAC, i d'aquest va sortir l’exposició, Imperceptible. Confesso que l'activitat del taller adaptat impartit en el museu vaig aprendre jo més que ells de mi”.
L’exposició vol crear una reflexió sobre la percepció de l'art, crear un debat sobre si és accessible per a tots els públics.
“Quan el públic entri en l'exposició serà en certa manera cec amb visió, perquè no entendrà gens. Com deia José Saramago, “tots estem cecs, cecs que veient, no veuen”. El meu missatge és invertir el rol de la percepció. Els invidents, marginats tradicionalment de la percepció visual de l'art, ara són els protagonistes en aquesta exposició. I els vidents són ara els marginats; no poden percebre les obres en la seva plenitud”.

“Imperceptible Art” in the new exhibition at the Cerdanyola Museum of Art (MAC). The MAC brings to Espai Arc, a Contemporary Art Show that brings together a selection of engravings, made by the artist Alfons Forrellad. Lithographs and Installations that move between poetry, abstraction and references to the tactile and sensory world.
The exhibition aims to reflect about the accessibility of Art and life and the relation with blind people. Forrellad presents a set of lithographs and engravings with hidden messages using braille language, so that the people who see them can not easily access to the messages and meaning of the pieces.
Alfons Forrellad began to collaborate with the MAC as a result of an activity in the Masters in Contemporary Art, in the Museology module, taught by Ester Prat. Later, he made an engraving workshop adapted to blind people in the same museum. As the artist says “from one project comes out another one; “from the theoretical activity of the master's degree emerged the experimental engraving workshop at the MAC, and from this, the “Imperceptible” exhibition came out. I confess that, with the activity of the workshop with blind people at the museum, I learned more from them than them from me”.
The exhibition aimed to create a reflection on the perception of art, create a debate about if Art is accessible to all audiences.
"When the public enters the exhibition it will be somewhat blind, because they will not understand anything. As José Saramago pointed out, "we are all blind, blind that seeing they do not see”. My message is to reverse the role of perception. Blind people, traditionally marginalised by Art’s visual perception, are now the main characters in this exhibition. And people with sight are now marginalised; they can not perceive the whole works".
